Examine the Verse
Deuteronomy 6:4-5
This verse is claimed to provide the basis of the Iglesia ni Cristo belief
that the "God and Father" of the Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles is also
the "God and Father" of Moses, Abraham and the ancient Israelites.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
(Deuteronomy 6:4-5,  New King James Version)

Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord [the only Lord].  And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might.

(Deuteronomy 6:4-5,  Amplified Bible)

Iglesia ni Cristo belief in God and Jesus Christ:
Iglesia ni Cristo believes in the absolute oneness of God, that "the Only True God is the Father" in heaven; The Father is the Lord God Almighty, the Creator of all things. God is Spirit, eternal, immortal and invisible; He is the God and Father of Jesus Christ and His Apostles; and that of Moses,
Abraham and the ancient Israelites.
Iglesia ni Cristo believes that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. As the Son of God,
Jesus is a Man.  However, Jesus is not an ordinary man but a "very special Man",
who was sanctified; made Lord, Christ, Savior, Mediator and Judge by God.

Apostle's admonition, warning and unique way of teaching:
1. No prophecy of scripture is a matter of personal interpretation. (II Pt. 1:20, NAB)
2. Do not go beyond  what is written. (I Cor. 4:6, NIV)
 3. We do not use words of human wisdom. We speak words given to us by the Spirit,
using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths. (1 Cor. 2:13, NLT)

  Points to Consider:
  1.  Notice that the above verses was written by Prophet Moses during the Old Testament times. The Prophet Moses, was commanded by the Lord God to teach His foremost commandment to the people of Israel in ancient times.
2.  The Prophet Moses clearly said:  "The Lord our God, the Lord is one!"  You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Thus, the Prophet Moses, taught the Israelite the absolute oneness of God.
3.  Please note that the ancient Israelites from the Patriarch Abraham to Isaac and Jacob are strictly monotheistic. And even up to this day, the Israelites are strictly monotheistic as they believe in only one God.  Thus, the so called Trinity doctrine is not taught in the Hebrew Bible which is also called the Old Testament of the Christian Bible.
