Examine the Verse
Exodus 6:2-3
This verse is claimed to provide the basis of the Iglesia ni Cristo
belief in the absolute oneness of God, that the only true God is the Father in heaven;
The Father is the Lord God Almighty, the Creator of all things;
God is Spirit, eternal, immortal and invisible.

  And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am the LORD. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Lord I was not known to them.
(Exodus 6:2-3,  New King James Version)

  Iglesia ni Cristo belief in God and Jesus Christ:
Iglesia ni Cristo believes in the absolute oneness of God, that "the Only True God is the Father" in heaven; The Father is the Lord God Almighty, the Creator of all things. God is Spirit, eternal, immortal and invisible; He is the God and Father of Jesus Christ and His Apostles; and that of Moses,
Abraham and the ancient Israelites.
Iglesia ni Cristo believes that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. As the Son of God,
Jesus is a Man.  However, Jesus is not an ordinary man but a "very special Man",
who was sanctified; made Lord, Christ, Savior, Mediator and Judge by God.

  Apostle's admonition, warning and unique way of teaching:
1. No prophecy of scripture is a matter of personal interpretation. (II Pt. 1:20, NAB)
2. Do not go beyond  what is written. (I Cor. 4:6, NIV)
 3. We do not use words of human wisdom. We speak words given to us by the Spirit,
using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths. (1 Cor. 2:13, NLT)

  Points to Consider:
  1.  Notice that In the above verses, the Lord God is speaking to Moses.
2.   In the above verse, the Lord God clearly said "I am the LORD.  I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty".
3.  Please take note what the Lord God Almighty said when He appeared to Abraham (Genesis 17:1);  and also to Jacob (Genesis 35:10-11)

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. (Gen.17:1, NKJV)

10. And God said to him, "Your name is Jacob; your name shall not be called Jacob anymore, but Israel shall be your name.'' So He called his name Israel.
11. Also God said to him: "I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body. (Gen.35:10-11, NKJV)

4.  Thus, the Lord God Almighty is the "only true God is the Father in heaven" (John 17:1,3), who is Spirit in nature (John 4:21-24), the Creator of all things (1 Corinthians 8:6);  and the "Father of all" (Ephesians 4:4-6).
