Examine the Verse
Deuteronomy 32:6
This verse is claimed to provide the basis of the Iglesia ni Cristo belief
that the "God and Father" of the Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles is also
the "God and Father" of Moses, Abraham and the ancient Israelites.

Is this how you thank the LORD,
   you stupid, senseless people?
Isn’t he your father, your creator?
Didn’t he make you and establish you?

(Deuteronomy 32:6,  Common English Bible)

6
Is this the way you repay the LORD for all he has done for you?
You are stupid, foolish people.
He is your Father and your Creator.
He made you, and he supports you.
(Deuteronomy 32:6,  Easy to Read Version)

Iglesia ni Cristo belief in God and Jesus Christ:
Iglesia ni Cristo believes in the absolute oneness of God, that "the Only True God is the Father" in heaven; The Father is the Lord God Almighty, the Creator of all things. God is Spirit, eternal, immortal and invisible; He is the God and Father of Jesus Christ and His Apostles; and that of Moses,
Abraham and the ancient Israelites.
Iglesia ni Cristo believes that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. As the Son of God,
Jesus is a Man.  However, Jesus is not an ordinary man but a "very special Man",
who was sanctified; made Lord, Christ, Savior, Mediator and Judge by God.

Apostle's admonition, warning and unique way of teaching:
1. No prophecy of scripture is a matter of personal interpretation. (II Pt. 1:20, NAB)
2. Do not go beyond what is written (1 Cor. 4:6, NIV)
 3. We do not use words of human wisdom. We speak words given to us by the Spirit,
using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths. (1 Cor. 2:13, NLT)

  Points to Consider:
  1.  Notice that the above verses are part of book of Deuteronomy which  was written by Prophet Moses during the Old Testament times.
The Prophet Moses clearly said this about the Lord:  "He is your Father and your Creator".
2.  According to the Prophet Moses, the Lord God of the ancient Israelites who is "the Lord our God, the only Lord" in Deut. 6:4., is their Father and  their Creator.
3.  Thus, the ancient Israelites are clearly monotheistic. The strictly believe in the only Lord God, who is their Father and their Creator.

Deuteronomy 32:6 in other versions of the Bible:

Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?   (King James Version)

Do you thus deal with the Lord,
O foolish and unwise people?
Is He not your Father, who bought you?
Has He not made you and established you? (New King James Bible)

Is this the way you repay the LORD for all he has done for you?
   You are stupid, foolish people.
He is your Father and your Creator.
He made you, and he supports you.    (Easy to Read Version)
